Mario and Allie opened their restaurant in a small hometown with a simple dream to serve the kind of authentic Italian food that had been passed down through Mario's family. They never imagined it would become a destination restaurant, with guests traveling from across the region and having some of the best staff anyone could have imagined that became like an extended family.    In 2023, that journey came to an unexpected pause when Mario's health concerns forced the restaurant to close its doors.   While the dining room may have closed, the story didn't end there. Today, longtime guests can once again enjoy the recipes they fell in love with this time in a new way. Through a partnership with Profit Cookers the Mario's brand has been licensed and is now being introduced to communities across the country, allowing even more families to experience the flavors that made the restaurant so special.   Rooted in the traditions of Friuli Venezia Giulia in northern Italy, every recipe reflects the cooking Mario grew up with prepared the same way his mother and grandmother had for generations. It's more than a menu; it's a family legacy, now being shared with America.
